Hellma Absorption Macro Cells for Spectroscopy
Absorption
cells are basically transparent containers used in spectrometry experiments to
study the optical absorption of different materials. Of the different types of
cells that are used in spectrophotometer experiments, absorption cells are very
important. This apparatus will measure
weak spectra in fluid mediums. Depending on the size of the absorption cell,
the capacity of sample that it can hold varies. The cells have a predefined
optical cavity into which light beams are reflected with the suitable placement
of mirrors. The changes in the specific properties of this beam is then studied
to draw conclusions and derive results of the experiment.
