Hellma Fluorescence Cells, Standard, Macro & Semi-macro cells for Spectroscopy
Of
the different types of cuvettes used in spectrometry experiments, fluorescence
cells are those with all the sides polished for fluorescence measurements. The
important characteristic feature of this piece of apparatus is that all the
cells contain excitation and emission windows. Fluorescence cells are available
in varying capacities, ranging from macro capacities to semi-micro, micro and
even sub-micro capacities. This enables measurements of smaller samples with
higher accuracy and resolution. When present with SEPTA screw caps, the cells
can be used in long-term storage conditions. There are also fluorescence cells
that are suitable for use in extremely low temperatures, depending on the
material used in construction.
