Advantec Qualitative Filter Papers

Filter paper selection is closely related to the overall accuracy and outcome of the lab experiment under study. Filter papers are typically made of cellulose fibers and are used in qualitative analysis techniques. Routine applications which do not require high precision can do with lower grade filter papers. However, as the complexity of the requirement increases, it is advised to use fast filtering and higher retention filter papers, that have a higher grading. As the grade increases, the retention capacity of the filter paper also rises. Thicker filter papers allow high loading capacity and are chosen for medium to fast filtration.
